Service
If the organisation of your forest enterprise is up to date and you are ready for outsourcing, FBR Service is your solution.
Supervision of Service Companies
- Checking of harvester cuttings:
Parameters like the number and basal area of the final crop trees favoured by the thinning, the damage to soil or main crop, etc. will be determined and the success of the cutting will be evaluated.
- In broadleaf stands the quality of selective thinning or, in younger stands, negative selection measures will be monitored.
- In the supervision of planting jobs, actual and nominal quantities of plants taking root, etc. will be recorded.
Use of GPS
GPS with long wave compensation allows for exact measurement of working areas.
With the help of GPS, areas for reafforestation or tending can be quickly measured. The GPS data are recorded either by the customer's own staff or by the FBR.
After the data has been transferred to and processed by, a geo information system, working areas can be tallied and appropriate management plans set up.
